Your reset button is in ‘I don’t know’

Keep running to have more, to do more, to gain more, to learn more, to save more, just not to stop. Because stopping is death. Maybe not physical death. Sometimes psychological death is more scary than the death of the body.

Fear of missing out, fear of not being supported, fear of not being enough are the base of the mother of all fears - to die. To seize. To be no more.

Some relationships get to a point of no more. It’s painful, sometimes disappointing or simply sad. A relationship that was held by habits and rituals that cannot be continued any longer is looking for the reset button.

The reset button is in the stopping. Resting in not knowing, dwelling in gain-free zone.

You only have to go through it once. At first, it feels like fire. The agitation of doing is burning through your bones. As the flames consume the core of your restlessness you’re left without energy, no energy to keep up the fight and the struggle. The tiredness settles in and a new space opens up. A more tender, listening, vacant energy is moving in to ignite a new conversation.

You went through it once and and now you know you are alive. Fully alive. You pressed the reset button. Now you don’t know. You don’t have to know. Now it’s in feeling, in sensing, in being one with whatever comes right now.

More for you...
