The Rains Will Ignore
Once again the rains fall on you
even though you sit inside.
I want to be an umbrella for you
but I'm not enough wide.
Im afraid of writing these poems
on you, of you.
Lest you'll read the words and the rains will ignore.
Lest we'll dance in love
to cover the blanket on words.
We will put them to sleep
and they will awaken.
From yet another infinite dream
an unshod prayer.
