your mother wound type
A clear mapping of the deeper emotional blueprint of each mother wound type
helps women break the cycle of unwanted habits and repeated difficult emotions

The mother wound is often an unexplored domain in women's life because there's a big shaming taboo on looking unfavourably on the relationship with one's mum and also because we tend to instinctively normalise the past as a survival coping mechanism.
Do you find yourself:
-
Getting dragged into roles you no longer want to fulfil in relationships or at work?
-
Feeling accomplished or confident in your creative or professional life but lonely or unaccomplished in your private life?
-
Struggling to be a different mum than your own as if she's living in your head ?
-
Trapped in people pleasing?
-
Feeling at loss in face of a deep sense of unworthiness?
-
Continuously concerned of being left alone or betrayed?
-
Feeling responsible for your mum's well being?
These experiences are often accompanied by shame, guilt or rage.
Sometimes, even after years of therapy these experiences don't find a resolution and that can be confusing or discouraging.
After working with many women on healing the mother wound, I’ve learned how useful it is to understand the foundations of the most common THREE MOTHER WOUND TYPES and what each needs in order to heal.

“I really loved this video. I could so relate to being type 2: the surrogate. It's teaching me how to release repressed anger and chronic depression“

"To heal, we must understand the deep longing to be heard, especially for those carrying the weight of unspoken trauma"
Janina Fisher

For so many women, the Mother Wound is an untold story
waiting to be acknowledged and seen
Perhaps like you, many women carry the untold story of the troubling or traumatising relationship with their mother.
This untold story is a huge burden to carry. We may have gotten used to carrying it and won't feel it in our day to day life, but deep inside it creates a spilt and leads to different experiences of stuck-ness in our lives.
Learning about the mother wound types and how each is relevant to our story brings an immense relief of being seen and heard then opens the path to getting unstuck.
In this video training you'll about the three common mother wound types:
1. The Saviour
2. The Surrogate
3. The Abandoned

Hi, I’m Shelly
I'm not only a certified Hakomi therpaist and a trauma trained by the great Janina Fisher - I'm also a mother wound survivor.
Growing up with a mentally ill mother, where I suffered infant starvation, childhood neglect and abandonment, I know what it's like to give everything you have to just move away from the hurt and the stories. Learning about the relationship, career, health and worthiness price I paid made me stop running away.
To working with women I bring both my personal experience and a profession experience in Buddhist psychology, somatic practices, Hakomi therapy, Jungian dreamwork, Polyvagal theory, attachment wounds healing therapy, and parts work.
“In a loving and caring way Shelly has the incredible ability to unravel intricate knots, pinpoint root causes and offer crystal clear guidance on possibilities how to embrace change and nourish the neglected and fragile parts within me.
This work sparked creativity and confidence and have helped me connecting my head to my body, allowing me to feel more 'at home' with myself“
