AND WE WOULD FALL IN LOVE

What if each moment in your life

was the

one

moment

you’ve been waiting for

all your life?

Will that make you admit

it was worth it?

All the pain

and grief,

All the sorrow

and disappointment.

Will that make you

see

the magic

which we call life?

Will that make you believe

that you are beautiful,

that you are love?

What if there was only you,

since there is only one?

What if the only voice that I could hear

was mine?

What if becoming

was always coming to visit you?

Will that make you abandon the search?

You would husband this yearning

to come back home,

release this tantric tension

within yourself.

What if you and me

are really the same?

Will that still make us

want to make love?

To be merged in this

insane losing of senses,

or is losing the senses

the only thing

we can get as a sign of

being one

as physical beings?

Do you know you’re lonely

because you don’t have yourself?

You let go of that self,

like a kiss departing

forever the lips.

What if you kept your promise

to be yourself?

Will that make you

want to stop the jealousy,

eradicate all war

and gestures of possessions?

What if all that happened?

Will you still dare to stay the same?

Would you dare

to keep your vulnerability to yourself,

and not share?

What if I didn’t want anything,

so I could stop going out of myself

to impress?

I and you

would belong

with no need

for a sense of belonging.

What if my mother had loved me

the way I wanted her to?

Would I be a better person,

more loving,

more true?

Is your body just a visual invitation

for silence?

Or is it a way to experience

cosmic orgasm?

What if you could have it all,

have all the worlds you want?

Even when your mother and father

tell you You can’t?

Even when your teacher and partner

tell you You can’t?.

Even when your own little voices

reawaken

to tell you

You can’t?

Does the future remember the past?

You hear the words

and they sound familiar.

It is your own voice

playing

through a different vessel.

And while your mouth becomes

alive with taste,

the saliva signals the attraction

to that face,

your palate is turned on,

your body flushed with blood,

erect,

you are looking for the label

of that spice

which has lost its original form

in the alchemy of a concept.

What if all the bubbles

of desire and shame

would explode,

and I remained naked

and at the same time

available and ready?

Ready for the penetration

of the infinite to its finite form

which will impregnate me

in a divine merge with you,

with myself.

Would you be beautiful

if you were beauty?

Would you be loving

if you were love?

What if we were able

to touch each other

without taking away

anyone else’s trust?

Will taking away the pain

without explosion

makes more sense?

What if we didn’t have gravity?

Would we still gravitate

towards each other?

Imagine if we could consciously share

this love making

of the heart-mind

without violating

the coherence of our life’s path.

What if you and I made love

with our souls?

We would merge and split

like there was nothing else to do,

nothing else to be,

and we will discover

the only moment

which is absolute

and whole,

and we would fall in love.

And we would fall

and fall

and fall,

there would be no before or after –

there is no beyond and behind –

and we would fall

and fall

and fall

in love.
